About the Role We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on maintaining the existing data platform in Azure and contributing to its migration towards Databricks, with Power BI and DAX as central components of the role. Key Responsibilities • Maintain the existing data platform in Azure (ADF, SSIS, Azure SQL) • Contribute to the migration of the platform towards Databricks • Utilize Power BI and DAX as part of the role Requirements • Solid data pipeline experience (ingestion, transformation, orchestration) with strong SQL & Python • Dimensional modeling: star schemas, slowly changing dimensions • Production experience with at least one of SSIS, Azure Data Factory or Azure SQL / T-SQL • Able to read and reverse-engineer unfamiliar legacy code, edge cases included • Strong Power BI semantic modeling + advanced DAX (CALCULATE, time intelligence) — mandatory • Balances production support, migration and new development; documents and shares knowledge • Fluent English, written and spoken Nice to Have • Spark / PySpark experience and proven fast learning of new technologies • Databricks in production (Delta Lake, Jobs / Workflows) • Migrating SSIS / ADF to a modern cloud platform • Microsoft Fabric • CI/CD for data (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) • Unity Catalog / lakehouse governance • Databricks Data Engineer Associate or PL-300 certification
