About the Role We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Data Engineer for a 6-month contract engagement. This fast-paced role requires professionals who can quickly integrate into an existing environment and deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows • Work extensively with Python and SQL for data processing and transformation • Develop and manage data solutions using Microsoft Fabric • Collaborate on data modeling initiatives including star schema and semantic layer design • Perform both development and testing activities to ensure data quality • Support reporting needs and collaborate with BI teams • Troubleshoot and optimize existing data processes for performance Requirements • 5–7 years of experience in Data Engineering or related field • Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL • Experience working with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms • Familiarity with data pipeline and orchestration tools • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts • Experience working with semantic layers • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to Power BI reporting and dashboarding • Experience in agile or fast-paced project environments • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
