About the Role We are seeking a Senior Front End Developer to join our Web Engineering team for a strategic digital modernization initiative focused on enhancing customer-facing digital experiences. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable web applications using modern front-end technologies. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable web applications using modern front-end technologies • Work with headless CMS solutions and cloud-native development practices • Collaborate with architects, product owners, UX teams, and platform engineers • Deliver high-performance customer-facing experiences at enterprise scale Requirements • 7+ years of software development experience • 3+ years of modern JavaScript application development • Strong experience with Svelte/SvelteKit, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS • Experience with REST APIs, GraphQL, Git, and modern source control practices • Hands-on experience with Sanity CMS and headless CMS architectures • Experience building applications deployed in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Strong knowledge of web accessibility, WCAG, and SEO best practices • Test-driven and quality-focused development approach • Experience with automated testing frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Vitest) • Experience operating in Agile/Scrum teams • Strong debugging and performance tuning capabilities Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting large-scale consumer digital platforms • Telecommunications or eCommerce industry experience • Experience migrating from traditional CMS platforms to headless architectures • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and migration strategies • Experience with Design Systems and reusable component libraries • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) • Cloud-native application architecture experience
