About the Role We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure VMware Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing and improving on-premises VMware infrastructure and legacy server environments. Key Responsibilities • Design and improve on-premises VMware infrastructure and legacy server environments • Provide hands-on expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and cluster architecture • Implement and manage VMware NSX-T, including micro-segmentation, distributed firewalls, and NSX Edge • Utilize VMware Avi / NSX Advanced Load Balancer • Automate infrastructure using PowerCLI, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools • Maintain working knowledge of BGP, VLANs, TCP/IP, and overlay networking • Support application migration to cloud environments Requirements • Strong experience designing and improving on-premises VMware infrastructure • Hands-on expertise in VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and cluster architecture • Strong VMware NSX-T experience, including micro-segmentation, distributed firewalls, and NSX Edge • Practical experience with VMware Avi / NSX Advanced Load Balancer • Infrastructure automation using PowerCLI, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools • Working knowledge of BGP, VLANs, TCP/IP, and overlay networking • Some cloud experience supporting application migration to cloud environments • Strong system engineering and architecture design skills • Focus on improving existing infrastructure rather than routine maintenance
