About the Role We are seeking a Senior Application Developer with extensive experience supporting and modernizing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and shop floor applications within a regulated enterprise environment. This role will serve as a technical lead responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and modernizing legacy manufacturing systems while providing day-to-day application support, break-fix resolution, and mentoring junior engineering resources. Key Responsibilities • Lead modernization efforts for legacy manufacturing applications and MES platforms • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications using C#, Visual Basic, Python, and related Microsoft technologies • Develop and maintain Python-based automation, integration, reporting, and data-processing solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency and operational visibility • Provide advanced troubleshooting and break-fix support for business-critical manufacturing systems supporting production operations • Support MES upgrades, migrations, deployments, and application enhancements across multiple manufacturing sites • Partner with manufacturing, quality, validation, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to identify and implement system improvements • Analyze and resolve application, database, interface, and performance issues impacting production environments • Develop and maintain integrations between MES, ERP, reporting, and enterprise systems • Create technical documentation, SOPs, support procedures, and knowledge-transfer materials Requirements • 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise manufacturing applications • Strong expertise in C#, Python, Visual Basic, and MES platforms • Background in application modernization, system integrations, database management, automation, and production support • Experience supporting global manufacturing operations and highly available production environments • Willingness and eligibility to travel to Juncos, Puerto Rico once a month
