About the Role We are seeking a Senior .NET Application Developer with GIS expertise for a 2-year contract position in NYC. This role requires designing and implementing full-stack solutions using .NET technologies, with a focus on geospatial data. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement full stack solutions using .NET technologies • Develop interfaces and integration flows using Visual Studio Application platform • Work with geospatial data types in various databases • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time • Lead and mentor junior developers Requirements • Minimum 10 years of experience in .NET development with GIS • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, GIS, or related field • Proven experience with C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET 9.0, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and Azure • Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Angular • Experience with RESTful API development and integration • Demonstrated experience working with geospatial data types in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases • Familiarity with web-based geospatial visualization and map library integrations • Experience with DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
