About the Role We are looking for a Senior .Net Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This is a 12-month contract position with the possibility of extension. The role focuses on developing enterprise backend applications using .NET technologies and Azure App Services. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement enterprise backend applications using C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core • Develop modern, responsive frontend applications using React.js and/or Angular • Deploy, configure, scale, secure, monitor, and troubleshoot applications on Azure App Services • Develop serverless applications and integrations using Azure Functions • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs • Design and optimize database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server • Implement secure access to Azure resources using Microsoft Entra ID • Conduct technical code reviews and provide architectural recommendations • Mentor developers and support knowledge transfer Requirements • At least 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development • Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core • Proficiency in object-oriented programming, asynchronous programming, dependency injection, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean architecture • Experience with React.js and/or Angular for frontend development • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure App Services and Azure Functions • Experience developing serverless applications and integrations using Azure Functions • Strong understanding of solution architecture, including scalability, high availability, security, performance, and maintainability • Strong experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs • Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, complex queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization • Good understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, application authentication and authorization, managed identities, and secure access to Azure resources • Strong knowledge of enterprise application development, API integration, database connectivity, and the Microsoft technology ecosystem • Understanding of software testing, debugging, logging, monitoring, secure coding, and application performance optimization • Strong troubleshooting skills across frontend, backend, API, database, and cloud environments • Excellent client-facing communication, stakeholder management, and technical problem-solving skills
