About the Role We are looking for an experienced Senior SDET / .NET Test Automation Engineer to support complex enterprise applications for a California public-sector organization. This role requires a strong background in .NET application development, test automation, and SQL Server. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement automated testing and regression frameworks • Develop test scripts using Java, Python, Shell, or similar languages • Perform functional, integration, system, performance, and load testing • Manage test environments, test harnesses, test data, and test case development • Utilize defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, HP ALM, or JAMA • Conduct root-cause analysis and manage defect tracking • Create technical documentation Requirements • 8+ years of .NET application development experience within the last 10 years • 8+ years of Microsoft SQL Server development experience within the last 10 years • 5+ years of automated testing and regression framework development • 5+ years of test environment management, test documentation, and defect tracking • 5+ years of translating business and technical requirements into test cases • 3+ years of SQL-based data validation and business requirements documentation experience Benefits • Potential for extensions beyond the initial 24-month duration
