About the Role We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Senior SDET) to join our product engineering team. You will own the test automation strategy and framework architecture, ensuring reliability and accuracy across complex application workflows. Key Responsibilities • Define and own the test strategy, framework architecture, and tooling roadmap for assigned product areas • Translate business requirements into traceable test cases across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end dimensions • Define test coverage metrics and quality gates; produce risk-based release readiness reports • Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for UI • Write complex SQL queries to validate backend data integrity in PostgreSQL • Isolate, document, and track defects in Azure DevOps • Conduct code reviews and coach developers on shift-left testing practices Requirements • 4 to 7 years of experience as a QA Engineer or SDET • Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress) • Knowledge of API testing tools (REST Assured or similar) • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) • Strong SQL skills for data validation • Experience with defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps) • Understanding of Agile methodologies and practices
