About the Role We are looking for an experienced DataStage Consultant / Senior Support Engineer with strong expertise in ETL development, administration, production support, and maintenance to join our team. Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using IBM DataStage • Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents within SLA timelines • Monitor DataStage job logs, system performance, and production workflows • Write and optimize SQL queries for data transformation and validation • Develop Python and Unix shell scripts to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency • Manage DataStage environments, configurations, upgrades, and maintenance • Build automation utilities and frameworks for environment health checks • Collaborate with business analysts, technical teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions • Manage application support, track KPIs/SLAs, and maintain technical documentation • Follow ITSM processes and support Agile/DevOps delivery practices Requirements • 6+ years of hands-on experience with IBM DataStage ETL development and administration • Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, Unix shell scripting, and relational databases • Experience with Cron jobs, production monitoring, and incident management • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Knowledge of ITSM processes and SLA management • Experience with JIRA, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies • Excellent communication skills and experience working with onshore-offshore teams
