About the Role We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our team at the State of Georgia – Georgia Tech (OIT). This role involves hands-on development and customization of ServiceNow applications. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications • Implement custom solutions using App Engine Studio • Write server-side scripts using Script Includes, Business Rules, and GlideRecord • Utilize Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST APIs for integrations • Configure UI elements using Configurable Workspace, UI Builder, UI Policies, and Client Scripts • Implement ACLs and ensure platform governance • Follow upgrade-safe development practices • Participate in Agile delivery and code reviews • Mentor junior developers Requirements • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience • 3+ years of experience with App Engine Studio and custom application development • Strong understanding of server-side scripting: Script Includes, Business Rules, GlideRecord, Scripted REST APIs • Experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, REST APIs, and JSON • Knowledge of Configurable Workspace, UI Builder, UI Policies, and Client Scripts • Understanding of ACLs, access controls, platform governance, and upgrade-safe development • Experience with Agile delivery, code reviews, and developer mentoring • ServiceNow CSA/CAD certifications preferred
