About the Role We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and deploying ServiceNow applications and enhancements across multiple environments. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications and enhancements across multiple environments • Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions • Maintain and enhance existing applications with a focus on stability, performance, and upgrade compatibility • Review and approve development work to ensure adherence to platform standards and security requirements • Support platform upgrades and resolve development-related issues introduced by new releases Requirements • Designing and building upgrade-safe, maintainable applications using App Engine Studio, scoped applications, and platform APIs • Developing role-aware, task-focused user experiences using Configurable Workspace, UI Policies, Client Scripts, and UI Builder • Implementing and supporting inbound and outbound integrations using Scripted REST APIs and IntegrationHub patterns where applicable • Apply platform guardrails, naming conventions, access controls, and architectural best practices to ensure long-term platform health • Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and change review processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams • Provide guidance to mid-level developers and delegated developers, reviewing code and promoting consistent development standards Preferred Skills • Strong experience with server-side scripting, including Script Includes, Business Rules, and Scripted REST APIs • Advanced proficiency with GlideRecord, query optimization, and transactional logic • Experience with Flow Designer, including reusable actions, subflows, and orchestration patterns • Solid understanding of ACL design, role hierarchy, and access evaluation order • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) • ITIL® 4 Foundation (or equivalent ITSM experience)
