About the Role The ServiceNow Developer will serve as a technical contributor responsible for the design, development, and support of enterprise ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities. This role partners with product owners, service managers, and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions aligned with institutional priorities. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy ServiceNow applications and enhancements • Partner with product owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions • Maintain and enhance existing applications with a focus on stability and performance • Review and approve development work to ensure adherence to platform standards Requirements • 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in enterprise environments • 3+ years building custom applications using App Engine Studio • 3+ years working within Agile or sprint-based delivery models • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred • ITIL® 4 Foundation (or equivalent ITSM experience) preferred Specialized Skills • Server-side scripting including Script Includes, Business Rules, and Scripted REST APIs • Advanced proficiency with GlideRecord, query optimization, and transactional logic • Experience with Flow Designer, reusable actions, subflows, and orchestration patterns • Understanding of ACL design, role hierarchy, and access evaluation order • App Engine & Custom Application Development • Workspace & UI Configuration • Integration & Automation • Platform Governance & Standards
