About the Role We are looking for a ServiceNow Developer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying ServiceNow applications. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test and deploy ServiceNow applications • Build scalable, maintainable and upgrade-safe custom solutions • Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement and change reviews • Review code and enforce platform governance and security standards • Support platform upgrades, production troubleshooting and release governance • Mentor developers and maintain technical documentation Requirements • 15+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience • 5+ years building custom applications using App Engine Studio • 5+ years working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments • Strong server-side scripting: Script Includes, Business Rules & Scripted REST APIs • Advanced GlideRecord, query optimization & transactional logic • Flow Designer, reusable actions, subflows & orchestration • ACL design, role hierarchy & access controls • Configurable Workspace, UI Builder & UI configuration • REST integrations, JSON data exchange & Integration Hub • Platform governance, upgrade-safe development & security standards • Technical documentation, code reviews & production troubleshooting • Technical leadership, mentoring & development standards Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, Computer Science, or a related field • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) • ITIL 4 Foundation or equivalent ITSM experience • Platform Analytics, indicators, breakdowns & dashboards
