About the Role Resource Corner is seeking an experienced Senior Snowflake / dbt Engineer to join their team in Sydney, Australia. This role involves designing and developing scalable data transformation solutions using Snowflake and dbt. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop scalable Snowflake-based data transformation solutions • Build and maintain reusable dbt frameworks, models, macros, packages, and templates • Develop enterprise data models and transformation standards • Implement automated testing, data-quality controls, and validation frameworks • Manage model lineage, dependencies, and environment promotion processes • Support CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development practices • Drive migration and modernisation from Teradata or other legacy data platforms to Snowflake • Collaborate with platform engineering teams to align with enterprise standards Requirements • Advanced Snowflake SQL and performance optimisation • Strong hands-on dbt experience, including macros, packages, testing, and deployment • Data modelling and transformation engineering expertise • Automated testing and data-quality frameworks • Strong Git, CI/CD, and DevOps practices • Experience migrating data solutions from Teradata or other legacy platforms • Understanding of enterprise data architecture and engineering principles
