About the Role Apple is seeking a Software Developer with Platform/SRE expertise to join their team in Cupertino, CA. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable systems and providing production support. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement software solutions for platform engineering • Provide site reliability engineering support for production systems • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in high-traffic environments • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and CodeDeploy • Work with distributed systems, networking, and container technologies • Participate in production releases, maintenance windows, and change management Requirements • 3+ years of software development experience • Strong proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or Go • Experience with backend development and Unix/Linux environments • Knowledge of Docker, containerd, and CI/CD practices • Understanding of distributed systems, networking, and production troubleshooting Preferred Skills • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS • Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Kafka, and Redis • Knowledge of Spark, Flink, and Big Data technologies • Experience with microservices and service mesh architectures
