About the Role We are looking for a Software Engineer (Cloud Platforms) to join our team in San Mateo, CA. This role focuses on architecting and building a commercial cloud platform from the ground up. Key Responsibilities • Architect and build commercial cloud platform from the ground up • Implement control/data plane separation, tenant/user management, auth/RBAC, and core platform services • Collaborate with product team on technical requirements Requirements • 6+ years of backend/platform engineering experience with hands-on 0-to-1 SaaS platform building experience at a VC-backed startup • Strong production experience with Go and Kubernetes • Experience with gRPC, PostgreSQL, and Terraform • Experience building core platform layers (control planes, multi-tenancy, API gateways, metering/billing) • A clear excellence signal from a top-tier infra/cloud company or a top-30 CS program
