About the Role We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement. This role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting scalable software applications and services. Key Responsibilities • Design and develop backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Python and/or Java. • Build and enhance web applications using JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS. • Develop data access layers and integrations with relational and NoSQL databases. • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following OOP and SOLID principles. • Develop unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews. • Containerize and deploy applications using Docker and CI/CD pipelines. • Support application deployment, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • Experience in software development using Python, Java, or JavaScript. • Strong understanding of REST API development and application frameworks. • Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases. • Ability to troubleshoot issues, work independently, and collaborate effectively.
