About the Role We are looking for a Software QA Test Development Engineer to join an innovative engineering team working on cutting-edge technology, focusing on embedded software testing and test automation. Key Responsibilities • Develop unit, integration, and qualification tests for embedded C/C++ software • Build Python-based test automation and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines • Drive structural code coverage, including MC/DC for safety-critical software • Debug hardware and software using JTAG/SWD debuggers, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers • Work with CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet protocols • Support Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262 compliance • Troubleshoot defects and collaborate with engineering teams Requirements • 3–6 years of experience in embedded software testing, verification, or QA • Strong Python scripting skills and working knowledge of C/C++ • Experience with GoogleTest, VectorCAST, Tessy, CUnit, or similar testing frameworks • Knowledge of structural code coverage and the V-model • Experience with embedded debugging tools and automotive communication protocols • Familiarity with Git, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines • Background in Automotive, Autonomous Vehicles, Aerospace, Space, or Robotics • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder required Preferred Skills • ISO 26262, Automotive SPICE, MISRA C/C++, AUTOSAR, SiL testing, and static analysis tools
