About the Role We are looking for an experienced Software QA Tester to join our team for a contract opportunity. This role focuses on testing a DC Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) enterprise application. Key Responsibilities • Support testing of a DMV enterprise application • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders • Perform manual and automation testing • Manage defects through JIRA • Conduct test planning, test cases, and regression testing • Perform REST API and integration testing • Validate databases and use SQL knowledge Requirements • 8+ years of experience in Software QA/Testing • Experience with manual and automation testing • Proficiency in Selenium and/or ACCELQ • Strong knowledge of JIRA for defect tracking and management • Experience with test planning, test cases, and regression testing • Knowledge of REST API and integration testing • Database validation and SQL knowledge • Understanding of SDLC, Agile Methodology, and Version Control • Strong analytical and communication skills
