About the Role We are looking for a Junior Software Quality Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on testing desktop applications and implementing automation solutions. Key Responsibilities • Perform desktop application testing • Conduct patch and package testing • Validate builds and upgrades • Execute regression and release testing • Implement QA automation using Playwright • Track defects using JIRA or Azure DevOps Requirements • Strong Python coding skills • Experience with desktop application testing • Knowledge of patch and package testing • Familiarity with build and upgrade validation • Understanding of regression and release testing • Experience with Playwright and QA automation • Proficiency in defect tracking using JIRA or Azure DevOps • Experience with CI/CD and automation frameworks is a plus • JavaScript knowledge is a plus
