About the Role We are seeking a Splunk O11Y Observability Engineer to join our team. This role involves implementing and managing observability solutions using Splunk and Open Telemetry. Key Responsibilities • Implement Splunk Observability Cloud for APM, Infra Monitoring, RUM, and Log Observer • Utilize Open Telemetry for collectors, processors, exporters, and instrumentation • Work with distributed tracing, span analysis, and service dependency mapping • Integrate Splunk Enterprise and ITSI for observability use cases • Apply strong Linux/Unix skills and scripting in Python and Bash • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Requirements • Hands-on experience with Splunk Observability Cloud • Strong understanding of Open Telemetry • Experience with distributed tracing and service dependency mapping • Familiarity with Splunk Enterprise and ITSI • Strong Linux/Unix skills and scripting abilities • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms Mandatory Skills • Splunk AIOPS
