About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to lead the architecture, design, and execution of our application deployment strategies. This role focuses on containerized infrastructure with a primary emphasis on Kubernetes. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available deployment topologies for microservices and monolithic applications • Build and maintain advanced CI/CD pipelines incorporating blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies • Drive GitOps practices using tools like ArgoCD or Flux • Guide development teams on Dockerfile best practices and container image security • Provision, upgrade, and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters • Develop and maintain Helm charts, Kustomize manifests, and custom resource definitions • Architect ingress controllers, service meshes, and network policies • Design and manage persistent volumes and stateful sets for applications • Automate provisioning of cloud resources using Terraform • Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions • Serve as an escalation point for complex deployment failures Requirements • Experience with Kubernetes architecture and deployment strategies • Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipeline engineering • Familiarity with GitOps methodologies and tools • Containerization expertise with Docker • Experience with Helm, Kustomize, and custom resource definitions • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills with Terraform • Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack • Experience with incident response and on-call rotations
