About the Role We are looking for a Systems Testing / QA Specialist to join the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement. This role involves executing testing activities for large complex business systems and developing test plans, test cases, and scripts. Key Responsibilities • Execute testing and data reconciliation activities for large complex business critical systems • Develop test plans, test cases, test scripts, and expected test results for complex business systems • Develop and execute automated test and performance test scenarios for large complex systems • Utilize automated and manual testing tools, problem tracking software Requirements • Proven experience in executing testing related activities and data reconciliation activities for large complex business critical business systems • Experience in developing test plans, test cases, test scripts and expected test results for complex business systems • Experience in developing and executing automated test and performance test scenarios for large complex systems • Experience with automated and manual testing tools, problem tracking software (Jira, Bugzilla, Microfocus UFT Product Suite) • Testing & SDLC Strategy: Full SDLC end-to-end QA planning, strategy documentation, test data setup, and functional/non-functional execution (UAT, integration, performance, load, security, & regression) • Automation & Tools: Hands-on with Selenium, Cypress, Postman (API testing), JMeter/LoadRunner, ALM, Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail, and Zephyr • Database & Data Integrity: Query writing for backend testing, data migration/transformation validation, data privacy, and Oracle DB knowledge • Tech & Scripting: Familiarity with Python, JavaScript, Bash scripting, CASE tools, version control, web-based 3-tier platforms, and object-oriented testing • Standards & Soft Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, team coordination, meeting tight deadlines, and knowledge of AODA standards
