About the Role We are looking for a Technical Architect with extensive experience in leading on-premises application migrations to Microsoft Azure and performing application assessments to support modernization initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Lead application discovery and assessment across portfolio (architecture, dependencies, performance, resiliency, compliance, and operational readiness) • Classify applications using modernization strategies: rehost / replatform / refactor / retire / retain / replace • Conduct dependency mapping (upstream/downstream systems, interfaces, data flows, batch jobs, middleware, identity) • Evaluate non-functional requirements (NFRs): availability, scalability, security, observability, RTO/RPO, and performance • Create modernization roadmaps and phased migration waves, including effort, risk, cost, and sequencing • Produce architecture artifacts: current-state and target-state diagrams, deployment topology, and integration patterns • Define and govern Azure landing zone architecture (subscription model, networks, identity, governance, security) • Design cloud architectures for compute, data, and integration Requirements • 4+ years of experience with Azure • Total overall 12 to 15+ years of experience • Proven experience leading on-premises application migrations to Microsoft Azure • Experience with tools and frameworks like Azure Migrate, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automation
