About the Role We are seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer specializing in data testing for a contract position in the banking industry. This role requires hands-on experience with test automation frameworks for data platforms and pipelines. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain test automation frameworks for data platforms and pipelines • Perform ETL/ELT testing, data validation, and regression testing • Work with SQL, Python, and Java in data testing environments • Integrate with CI/CD pipelines and cloud data platforms Requirements • 10+ years of overall experience in test automation • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Python/Java • Experience in ETL/ELT testing, data validation, and regression testing • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery) • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience in enterprise data environments, with financial services experience being an advantage • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Must have valid Swiss work authorization and be available to work onsite in Zurich, Switzerland
