About the Role We are seeking a Test Engineer with a focus on QA Automation to join our team in the insurance industry. This role involves ensuring software quality through both manual and automated testing processes. Key Responsibilities • Execute manual and automated testing to ensure software quality, visibility, and traceability throughout the testing process • Ensure testing processes comply with company standards and recommend improvements • Assist business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Business Verification Testing (BVT) • Prepare test environments and test data • Develop and execute automated test cases, create automation scripts, and prepare test execution reports • Perform load and stress testing to evaluate application stability and response times • Prepare performance testing reports • Maintain reusable test scenarios and test cases for current and future projects Requirements • Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Economics, Management, Engineering, or related majors • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA) Automation • Experienced in testing various applications, including mobile apps, web applications, front-end, and back-end systems • Knowledge of software release processes, particularly Agile methodologies • Understanding of test automation, scripting, and regression testing • Basic knowledge of SQL queries • Familiar with test management tools such as Bug Tracker and JIRA • Knowledge of automation programming languages such as JavaScript, VBScript, Python, Cucumber, .NET, or Java • Familiar with API testing tools such as SoapUI, Postman, and JMeter • Good communication and stakeholder management skills • Up to date with digital trends, technology, and standards • ISTQB, CSTE, or Cloud Testing training/certification is an advantage
