About the Role We are looking for an experienced Test Lead with strong expertise in Ecommerce Quality Engineering, API testing, and end-to-end business process validation. The ideal candidate will lead testing activities across complex frontend, backend, and enterprise system integrations for large-scale Ecommerce applications. Key Responsibilities • Lead test strategy, planning, execution, and release validation • Validate complete Ecommerce customer journeys and backend order processing • Ensure data consistency across Ecommerce, ERP, CRM, inventory, and fulfillment systems • Drive API testing, defect resolution, automation coverage, and quality improvements • Collaborate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders • Mentor testers and provide regular quality metrics and release-readiness updates Requirements • 8–12 years of software testing experience • Strong hands-on experience in Ecommerce functional and end-to-end testing • Experience with Adobe Commerce, SAP Commerce, or another leading Ecommerce platform • Strong API testing skills using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools • Thorough understanding of product browsing, cart, checkout, order placement, and order lifecycle • Experience validating inventory, order processing, fulfillment, shipment, and delivery workflows • Testing of frontend applications, backend services, and system integrations • Strong knowledge of STLC, test strategy, test planning, regression, and integration testing • Experience leading testing activities in Agile/Scrum environments • Defect management, root cause analysis, test reporting, and release readiness Good to Have • B2B Ecommerce experience • ERP and CRM integration testing • Integration experience with payment, inventory, and fulfillment systems • Test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or similar frameworks • Experience designing and improving enterprise automation frameworks • Experience with large-scale Retail or Ecommerce platforms
