About the Role We are looking for an experienced VMware / Network Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure operations and modernization initiatives for the SCDOR. Key Responsibilities • Support enterprise infrastructure operations and modernization initiatives • Design, implement, troubleshoot, and support enterprise VMware environments • Perform infrastructure capacity planning and performance monitoring Requirements • 13+ years of overall IT experience • 3+ years of Federal, State, or Local Government experience • 8+ years of hands-on VMware ESX/ESXi administration • 8+ years of enterprise VMware and SAN storage experience • Strong experience designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise VMware environments • Experience with infrastructure capacity planning and performance monitoring • VMware VCP certification (Mandatory) • Candidate MUST currently reside in South Carolina • No relocation candidates • Must be available to work onsite 3 days per week • Must be comfortable with a shared 24/7 on-call rotation • Onsite interview is required
