About the Role
We are looking for a Product Copywriter to join the A&F Creative Marketing team. This role focuses on creating engaging product descriptions, names, and editorial content for online and on-garment displays. The copywriter will collaborate with merchandising teams to ensure accuracy and convey product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Write engaging and accurate product descriptions for A&F, kids, baby/toddler, and YPB
- →Maintain consistent copy structure and voice across all product categories and brands
- →Ensure legal compliance of product claims across all descriptions
- →Work closely with site merchandising to ensure a seamless customer experience
- →Brainstorm unique product names for on-product marketing
- →Write editorial language to define collections and key items
- →Collaborate with design to execute hangtags and on-product marketing
- →Own the color naming process for all brands
- →Stay on top of fashion trends and language
- →Edit copy based on feedback and changes
- →Perform competitive research to inform copy
- →Participate in team collaborations
Requirements
- ✓Near-perfect editing and grammar skills
- ✓Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, or related field
- ✓1+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in retail
- ✓Portfolio showcasing technical writing and grammar proficiency
- ✓Basic knowledge of marketing principles
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Ability to operate autonomously with strong time management
- ✓Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- ✓Open to constructive criticism
- ✓Interest in fashion and brand familiarity
- ✓Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel & Teams
