About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager - Supply to join our team at ABOUT YOU. This role involves managing strategic and operational projects with end-to-end responsibility in areas such as Buying, Partner Management, Inventory, Business Steering, and Procurement. You will play a key role in shaping the future of ABOUT YOU by addressing core business issues in the fast-paced tech and e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Understand the roles and systems of different teams to coordinate projects effectively
- →Lead strategic and operational projects across teams, ensuring they are completed on time and meet goals
- →Act as a sparring partner for strategic initiatives driven by the VP or Directors
- →Conduct complex analyses and independent research to support project decisions and planning
- →Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas to improve business growth and profitability
- →Communicate clearly and work well with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and steer projects effectively
Requirements
- ✓Degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a comparable field
- ✓Several years of practical experience in strategy and business development, or project management, ideally in a leading management consultancy, optionally also in a start-up environment
- ✓Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- ✓Very good analytical skills and strong numerical understanding
- ✓Ability to thrive in a fast-moving scale-up environment with a strong, hands-on mindset
- ✓Quick comprehension and structured way of working
