About the Role
Adyen is looking for a hands-on and proactive HR Business Partner to support our growing Chicago office. This role will serve as the primary HR point of contact for local leadership and ensure our Chicago teams are supported and engaged.
Key Responsibilities
- →Act as the go-to HR partner for Chicago Team Leads and Managers, providing coaching on leadership effectiveness and team dynamics.
- →Connect different functions in the Chicago office to ensure office-wide engagement and a strong sense of community.
- →Drive local execution of performance management and enable managers to have high-quality growth conversations.
- →Provide support for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- →Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise and the NA HRBP team to implement people initiatives.
- →Use local people data to identify trends and suggest improvements to the employee experience.
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of HRBP experience, ideally in a fast-paced tech or high-growth environment.
- ✓Ability to build relationships across all levels and departments and be visible and accessible in the office.
- ✓Comfort with jumping from high-level talent discussions to practical day-to-day HR tasks.
- ✓Proven ability to coach first-time managers and Team Leads through the complexities of leading people.
- ✓A "builder" mindset and ability to simplify processes.
- ✓Ability to articulate fact-based solutions clearly and handle sensitive conversations with high emotional intelligence.
