About the Role

You will join the Cities team at Airbnb, leading regulatory operations and advising cross-functional teams globally. This role involves developing scalable solutions to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead strategic development and execution of regulatory programs across multiple jurisdictions
→Manage a high-performing team responsible for strategy and regulatory operations
→Translate emerging regulatory trends into actionable business strategies
→Partner with technical partners to design automated compliance solutions
→Identify and resolve regulatory risks, coordinating with legal and policy teams
→Influence cross-functional roadmaps through expertise in regulatory frameworks
→Serve as primary liaison for jurisdictions, ensuring alignment among stakeholders
→Drive strategic projects enhancing efficiency and effectiveness
→Analyze data to identify trends and anomalies

Requirements

✓10+ years of experience in regulatory operations, legal/policy compliance, consulting, or related fields
✓Strong team management and coaching skills
✓Ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced regulatory environment
✓Experience building scalable technical solutions to mitigate risks
✓Experience designing and operationalizing regulatory workflows
✓Exceptional communication skills for varied audiences
✓Comfortable interfacing with and influencing senior management
✓Strong stakeholder management skills
