About the Role
The Operations Lead is a critical member of the store leadership team at ALO, responsible for driving profitability and efficiency. This role works closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to ensure optimal store operations and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and execute inventory management processes to maximize accuracy and reduce shrink
- →Investigate and resolve inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General Manager
- →Manage key operational functions including shipment, receiving, processing, and sales floor recovery
- →Champion visual standards for the sales floor
- →Support a safe work environment through strong stockroom standards
- →Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager on reporting, budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships
- →Demonstrate business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business strategies
- →Assess and fulfill business needs on the retail floor
- →Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience
- →Oversee Operations Associates, responsible for recruitment and development
- →Provide feedback to drive individual growth and improvement
- →Collaborate with Visual Lead and Sales & Service Lead for cross-functional training
- →Execute company-level operations directives and initiatives
Requirements
- ✓2+ years prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment
- ✓Proven leadership capabilities with excellent decision-making skills
- ✓Values feedback and is receptive to receiving and providing it
- ✓High energy, upbeat, and enthusiastic with the ability to integrate fun and work
- ✓Self-motivated with a desire to achieve results individually and as a team
- ✓Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- ✓Aligns with and embodies ALO's guiding principles
