About the Role
We are looking for an Account Executive to join Appian, a software company that automates business processes. This role is responsible for navigating complex accounts and managing a sales cycle to a successful close.
Key Responsibilities
- →Navigate complex accounts and top of funnel activity & prospecting
- →Effectively manage a complex sales cycle (approximately 6-12 months) to a successful close
- →Deliver in-person and virtual presentations to LOB & IT audiences
- →Act as a trusted advisor to both customers and colleagues
- →Understand industry trends to help position against competitors
Requirements
- ✓Experience navigating a complex sales cycle from start to finish
- ✓Strong presentation skills for delivering in-person and virtual presentations
- ✓A trusted advisor to both customers and colleagues
- ✓Actively seeking to understand industry trends
- ✓Bachelor's degree in related field/degree
- ✓5-10+ years of direct selling experience
- ✓Minimum of 2 years experience as an Enterprise Account Executive
- ✓History of consistent quota achievement
- ✓Examples of landing new customer logos
- ✓Strong job tenure: history of displaying loyalty and perseverance through long, stable job tenure and positive career trajectory
