About the Role
We are looking for a Project Manager to join Applaudo. This role involves managing end-to-end technology or software development projects, ensuring deliverables meet scope, quality standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead and oversee the delivery of project deliverables according to scope, quality standards, and timelines.
- →Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including milestones, resource allocation, and risk management.
- →Monitor development cadence and ensure that outputs align with project requirements.
- →Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
- →Track overall progress, performance, and resource usage, taking corrective actions when necessary.
- →Maintain regular and structured communication with upper management, clients, and internal teams.
- →Ensure all reporting structures are followed and documentation is kept up to date.
- →Conduct project evaluation reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
- →Ensure a clear understanding of client expectations and align delivery to meet those needs.
- →Oversee budget execution and ensure adherence to financial and contractual commitments.
- →Coordinate with stakeholders to manage changes in project scope or direction.
- →Promote continuous improvement by contributing to the development of project management best practices and lessons learned.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- ✓Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- ✓3–5 years of experience managing end-to-end technology or software development projects.
- ✓At least 1 year of previous experience as a software developer or in a technical role.
- ✓Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, and reporting processes.
- ✓Familiarity with project assurance roles and structured reporting models.
- ✓Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for risk and contingency planning.
- ✓High attention to detail and commitment to quality and deadlines.
- ✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure client expectations are met.
- ✓Deep understanding of contract management and budget control.
