About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Application Architect to join our team at the European Institutions in Brussels. This role focuses on designing and defining application and technical architectures for cloud-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- βDesign and define application and technical architectures (back-end, front-end, and infrastructure)
- βLead architectural decisions for scalable, secure, and resilient AWS-based solutions
- βAct as a technical reference and advisor for development and DevOps teams
- βPromote best practices in software architecture, DevOps, and cloud engineering
- βDesign, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK
- βBuild and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies
- βEnsure application performance, availability, security, and maintainability
- βCollaborate closely with product owners, security teams, and operations
- βPerform architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical coaching
- βContribute to technology choices and long-term technical roadmap
