About the Role
We are looking for a Level Designer to join Asobo Studio, a renowned game development studio known for creating exceptional interactive experiences. This role involves working on a new 3rd person narrative adventure game, contributing to the development of captivating levels and gameplay features.
Key Responsibilities
- →Conceive and create engaging levels from analyzing requirements to proposing feasible solutions
- →Design and balance specific gameplay features in collaboration with artists and programmers
- →Test new ideas and innovate to push the boundaries of Level Design
- →Prototype levels and maintain Level Design documentation
- →Manage level testing with the QA team to ensure quality and project alignment
Requirements
- ✓Minimum 4 years of Level Design experience on published video games
- ✓Mastery of level design phases (block out, prototypes, successive passes)
- ✓Experience with scripting tools and game engines
- ✓Strong creativity and solid video game culture, especially in narrative adventure genre
- ✓Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- ✓Attention to detail while maintaining production efficiency
- ✓Operational level in French and English (written and oral)
