About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer with Front-End focus to take end-to-end ownership of our front-end architecture and developer tooling. This role involves building foundations early, making pragmatic decisions, and improving systems to unblock teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own and evolve the front-end architecture across applications
- →Design and maintain front-end tooling to improve developer velocity
- →Set technical direction for performance, accessibility, and maintainability
- →Make high-impact architectural decisions with a bias toward simplicity
- →Build and maintain shared UI components and core front-end abstractions
- →Partner with product engineers and designers to support rapid product development
- →Identify and fix pain points, technical debt, and scaling risks
- →Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical discussions
- →Act as a front-end technical leader
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of software engineering experience with front-end expertise
- ✓Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern front-end frameworks
- ✓Experience owning front-end architecture in fast-moving environments
- ✓Understanding of front-end tooling and build systems
- ✓Experience with shared component libraries or design systems
- ✓Knowledge of performance optimization, browser behavior, and accessibility
- ✓Ability to work with ambiguity and make trade-offs
- ✓Ability to influence technical direction through collaboration
- ✓Startup mindset with a bias toward action
