About the Role

We are looking for a Developer Experience Engineer to join our newly formed Camunda Ex(perience) team within Camunda's Product Engineering department. This role focuses on improving the experience for developers using our Camunda 8 stack.

Key Responsibilities

→Steer the decision process on API proposals
→Resolve shortcomings of the current API Governance Process
→Extend Internal Developer Guidance on building new endpoints
→Setup automated QA for client artifacts
→Contribute to the development of new native Clients
→Improve existing clients with QoL enhancements
→Extend our Camunda Spring Boot Starter by implementing feature requests

Requirements

✓Extensive experience (4 years+) writing and maintaining production code in Python
✓Extensive experience (3 years+) with building coherent server APIs with OpenAPI
✓Proven experience (3 years+) writing documentation, code samples, examples, videos, or blog posts
✓Ability to work asynchronously with teams across time zones
✓Strong sense of 'manager of one' - self-motivation and proactive problem-solving
