About the Role
We are looking for a Data Scientist - Commercial Insights to join Catawiki's Data Science & Insights team. This role involves working with commercial teams to identify opportunities through data analysis and insights, helping shape commercial strategy and influence stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own analytics for a commercial area, taking full ownership of a major part of the commercial strategy
- →Turn data into insights and recommendations, defining key success measures and translating data into clear recommendations
- →Drive advanced analytics at scale using methods like regression analysis, causal inference, and scenario testing
- →Build ad hoc analyses, design and analyze commercial activations, uncover trends in user behavior
- →Enhance the reliability of data pipelines
Requirements
- ✓Strong quantitative background with 3+ years of experience in Data Science or Analytics, ideally in an online company
- ✓Highly proficient in SQL and experienced in writing code to transform data into insights using Python, R, or another language
- ✓Advanced statistical expertise with a strong grasp of statistics and experience with techniques like regression analysis, causal inference, time series modeling, and hypothesis testing
- ✓Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and solve problems autonomously
- ✓Strong communicator and mentor with the ability to work effectively with leadership, engineers, and product teams
