About the Role
YipitData is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead our Emerging Sectors initiative, transforming consumer data into actionable insights for clients in new sectors. This role involves building methodologies, workflows, and quality standards to scale data coverage across emerging verticals.
Key Responsibilities
- βOwn data strategy and execution for client deliverables in new sectors
- βServe as a subject-matter expert for emerging sector data
- βInvestigate and resolve data quality issues
- βDesign and maintain scalable workflows
- βEvolve sector categorization frameworks
- βMentor and empower team members
- βPartner cross-functionally to drive ARR growth
Requirements
- β6+ years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting
- β4+ years of experience with SQL, Python, Pyspark, or similar tools
- βStrong experience with large, messy datasets
- βComfortable with SQL and Python
- βStrong ownership mindset and communication skills
- βPreferred: Experience with market intelligence or data analytics for brand manufacturers/retailers
