About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist - Product Insights to join our Data Science & Insights team at Catawiki. You will work with Product teams to leverage data, identify user journey opportunities, and measure the impact of product features. This role involves making sense of vast amounts of data, finding actionable insights, and creating self-service opportunities by combining data from multiple sources.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own analytics for a broad product area, taking full ownership of a major part of the platform
- →Turn data into insights and recommendations, defining key success measures and translating data into clear recommendations
- →Drive advanced product analytics at scale, including using methods like regression analysis, causal inference, and A/B testing
- →Design and analyze A/B tests, uncover trends in user behavior, and communicate about the impact of new initiatives
- →Enhance the reliability of data pipelines and work closely with stakeholders and other departments
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of experience in data science or analytics, ideally in an online company
- ✓Strong quantitative background and advanced technical skills in SQL, Python, R, or another language
- ✓Experience with tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, and data transformation tools like dbt or Dataform
- ✓Strong grasp of statistics and experience with tracking tools like Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- ✓Hands-on experience designing and evaluating A/B tests and other experiments
- ✓Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication and mentoring skills
