About the Role
The City College for Municipal Development & Workforce Programming (CCME &WP) is seeking an Outreach and Engagement Program Manager to support priority workforce initiatives of the Parker Administration, including the Fair Chance Hiring Initiative and other strategic investments designed to strengthen employment pathways for Philadelphia residents.
Key Responsibilities
- →Serve as the City’s primary liaison for outreach and engagement with community organizations, employers, and key stakeholders
- →Develop cross-functional collaborations and facilitate workforce connections across City departments and external partners
- →Communicate and collaborate with partners to assess their needs and ensure alignment with City workforce programs
- →Ensure stakeholders are informed about available programs, incentives, and opportunities for engagement
- →Support the Parker Administration’s priority to create a single hub for residents to learn about programs that align with their career goals
- →Access labor market data to help inform priority industry focus areas
- →Identify and analyze employer training needs and match with available training programs
- →Cultivate existing and prospective employer and partner relationships
- →Provide ongoing support to strengthen inter-team communication and cohesiveness
- →Conduct research on local and regional labor market trends
- →Work collaboratively with City departments, workforce intermediaries, and external partners
- →Liaise with community-based organizations and Philadelphia residents on promoting workforce training options
- →Serve as an active member of city-wide workforce development committees
- →Represent CCME & WP at events, conferences, or meetings
Requirements

- ✓Integrity, positive attitude, and self-direction
- ✓Mission-driven focus with a passion for workforce and economic development
- ✓Experience presenting information to employers, partners, and community groups
- ✓Minimal night and weekend work may be required.
