CompuNet is seeking a Business Analyst, Safe and Smart Workplace (SSW), to support the systems, tools, and data that enable effective execution across the SSW organization. This role focuses on improving the effectiveness, accuracy, and scalability of SSW operations through system support, analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement.
The Business Analyst, SSW, works closely with SSW leadership, Enterprise Architecture, and cross-functional partners to support and enhance core SSW platforms and processes. This role serves as both a functional system owner and operational partner, balancing day-to-day system administration with ongoing workflow and reporting improvements.
Successful candidates will be analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within enterprise systems while helping the business better leverage data and workflows to drive operational efficiency.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Business Analyst, Safe and Smart Workplace (SSW), will work closely with SSW leadership and cross-functional partners to support the following areas of responsibility:
Systems Ownership & Operational Support
β’ Own day-to-day operation, configuration, and administration of SSW systems and platforms.
β’ Maintain workflows, approval structures, data configurations, and overall system usability.
β’ Perform configuration changes and minor enhancements; escalate complex technical needs to the Global Technology team.
β’ Provide documentation, training, and user support.
Workflow Optimization (Warehouse, Inventory & Field Services)
β’ Support and improve workflows across inventory, warehouse, and field service operations.
β’ Reduce administrative friction and improve visibility into operational processes and handoffs.
β’ Support and optimize platforms such as ConnectWise, D-Tools, Microsoft Dynamics and related tools.
Reporting & Analytics
β’ Partner with Business Intelligence to develop and maintain dashboards and reporting (e.g., Power BI).
β’ Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
β’ Support planning and performance tracking through structured reporting.
Business Analysis & Continuous Improvement
β’ Work with stakeholders to understand processes, identify gaps, and define requirements.
β’ Translate business needs into actionable requirements for system and reporting enhancements.
β’ Support testing, implementation, and adoption of changes.
β’ Document workflows, data definitions, and reporting logic to improve consistency and transparency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
β’ Partner with SSW, Finance, IT, Operations, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
β’ Serve as a functional subject-matter resource for SSW systems and workflows.
β’ Support change management and user enablement efforts.
Travel Expectations
β’ Occasional, pre-planned travel may be required for meetings, training, or company events.
Education & Experience
Minimum Requirements
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent professional experience.
β’ 3β7+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Operations, or Systems-related roles.
β’ Experience supporting or administering enterprise business systems.
β’ Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally to deliver system or process improvements.
Desired Experience
β’ Experience in an IT reseller, technology services, or distribution environment.
β’ Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar platforms.
β’ Experience with inventory, warehouse, or field service systems.
β’ Experience with reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI).
