About the Role
We are looking for an Enterprise Account Executive to join the Confluent Sales Team. This role involves selling Confluent solutions to large and strategic customers, with a focus on driving revenue growth and meeting quarterly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive revenue growth in large, complex, and highly visible accounts
- →Prospect, identify, qualify, develop, and close a sales pipeline
- →Execute a strategic complex sales cycle, demonstrating value at C-Level
- →Become an expert on Confluent offerings, product suites, and competitive landscape
- →Develop a deep understanding of customers to become a trusted advisor
- →Work with partner ecosystem teams to sell through the ecosystem
- →Align with Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, and Customer Success Management
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles
- ✓Prior experience in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, Open Source, or Enterprise IT Solutions
- ✓Previous sales methodology training (MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.)
- ✓Experience in leading and executing complex sales strategies
- ✓Consistent track record of success and quota attainment
- ✓Ability to articulate business value to businesses of all sizes
- ✓Experience developing and improving processes
- ✓Exceptional relationship-building, customer relations, and negotiation skills
- ✓Open to travel to customer locations as needed
- ✓BS/BA degree or equivalent preferred
