About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Operations Director to align sales and pre-sales functions to optimize company growth and profitability. This role oversees operational aspects of the GTM function, ensuring streamlined processes, effective sales enablement, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and refine GTM strategy aligned with company goals
- →Oversee Sales Enablement team and drive alignment with Offerings and Learning Development
- →Evaluate and enhance the end-to-end client sales process from lead generation to deal closure
- →Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to drive operational excellence
- →Own the sales process framework, stage definitions, and pipeline hygiene rules
- →Ensure accurate stage movement, close dates, and probability alignment across Account Executives
- →Execute weekly pipeline audits to identify risks, gaps, and data issues
- →Partner with Sales Leadership to enforce operational discipline
- →Manage sales process documentation, updates, and field communication
- →Utilize data analytics to provide actionable insights into sales performance and trends
- →Support Account Executive onboarding with system access and CRM setup
- →Develop and maintain comprehensive sales reports and dashboards
- →Oversee selection and maintenance of sales tools and technologies
- →Coordinate deal desk process including approvals and price exceptions
- →Collaborate with Delivery, Marketing, Finance, HR, and Offering departments
- →Work with Sales Leaders to develop enablement programs for skill enhancement
- →Collaborate with CRO and Finance on sales compensation plans
- →Implement SPIFF tracking and communication
- →Contribute to annual sales forecasting and budgeting processes
- →Prepare and run weekly and monthly forecast calls and reports
- →Establish and monitor key performance indicators for GTM team performance
- →Lead and mentor a team of sales enablement and operations professionals
- →Administer account planning and tiering framework and process
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field
- ✓7-9 years of experience in sales operations and leadership
- ✓Proven track record of optimizing sales processes and driving revenue growth
- ✓Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data sets
- ✓Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
- ✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ✓Strategic mindset with ability to make data-driven decisions
- ✓Previous experience in managing and developing a team
- ✓Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
