About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Head of People Operations to lead our people strategy and build a world-class employee experience at Courier Health. This role involves partnering with company leadership to develop and execute people programs that scale with our growth while maintaining our culture and values.

Key Responsibilities

→Champion and evolve company culture through intentional programs and initiatives
→Design and execute comprehensive onboarding and employee development programs
→Create and manage performance management systems that drive accountability and growth
→Build employee engagement initiatives for remote/hybrid teams
→Partner with executive leadership to align people strategy with business objectives
→Design and implement scalable HR infrastructure, policies, and processes
→Lead talent acquisition strategy to attract top-tier healthcare and tech talent
→Develop data-driven insights on workforce trends and organizational health
→Oversee all HR operations including HRIS management, benefits administration, and payroll
→Ensure compliance with employment laws across all locations
→Manage compensation strategy, equity programs, and total rewards
→Develop and maintain employee handbook, policies, and HR documentation
→Build and mentor a high-performing people operations team
→Coach managers on people management best practices
→Lead organizational design efforts to optimize team structure

Requirements

✓7+ years of HR/People Operations experience, with at least 3 years at a high-growth startup
✓Proven track record building people operations from early stage through scale
✓Deep expertise in employment law, HR compliance, and risk management
✓Experience with HRIS platforms and HR tech stack implementation
✓Strong business acumen with ability to translate people metrics into strategic insights
✓Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch
✓Data-driven decision maker who balances analytics with human intuition
✓Passionate about creating inclusive workplaces
