About the Role
The Critical Mass Group is seeking an Area Sales Manager to grow and manage sales of their brands in South San Diego, CA. This role involves building relationships with retailers, distributors, and local brand reps to drive brand growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- →Grow and manage sales of the Company’s brands at current and new retailers
- →Execute weekly sales routes as defined by the Company
- →Build and maintain relationships with accounts, key stakeholders, and local distributors
- →Provide excellent sales and customer service to achieve account satisfaction
- →Handle customer concerns and follow-up proactively
- →Participate in distributor meetings and ride alongs
- →Use mobile electronic devices to complete required forms and documents
- →Solicit and obtain orders for incremental sales
- →Survey assigned accounts to ensure proper product and POS presentation
- →Utilize data to identify opportunities for increased profits and margins
- →Conduct store audits to ensure merchandising standards are adhered to
- →Represent the Company in a positive and energetic manner
Requirements
- ✓Passion for food and beverages
- ✓High school diploma or equivalent
- ✓2-5 years of successful sales experience with retail
- ✓Established relationships and demonstrated success working with retail accounts
- ✓Working knowledge of financials used in the sales process
- ✓Strong planning and organizational skills
- ✓Excellent interpersonal, written/oral communication, and presentation skills
- ✓Full competence with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- ✓Proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- ✓Demonstrated ability to excel in a hands-on, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
- ✓Highly adaptable and resourceful; proactive approach to problem-solving
