About the Role
We are looking for a Staff Product Designer to help define what great design looks like at Crosby. You'll report directly to our co-founder and CTO and work as a peer to our product and engineering leads, with the autonomy to set design standards and shape how we build.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead design for our first customer-facing platform, from early research through shipped product
- →Own end-to-end design for core product experiences, collaborating closely with the founding product lead to drive strategy across multiple product surfaces
- →Partner with strategic customers to deeply understand workflows and translate insights into product direction
- →Collaborate closely with engineering to ship high-quality work quickly
- →Raise the bar on design craft across the company and advocate for design at the leadership level
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of product design experience, with multiple 0 to 1 shipped products you're proud of
- ✓A portfolio that demonstrates strong visual craft and clear product thinking
- ✓Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward action
- ✓Interest in working with or learning more about AI/ML and the legal space
- ✓Excellent communication skills, both visual and verbal
- ✓Based in NYC or willing to relocate
